Fabio Porliod, a young and new designer from Valle d´Aosta was born with fashion running in his blood. An unbridled passion arising from family; Grandparents Arturo and Régine during the decade of the Sixties, indulged into their artistic flair managing a important and well-known Fashion Atelier in the city of Paris. It was while rapt by those stories from his Grandparents that Fabio began to follow Graziella´s (his mother) knowledge inherited by Régine. He started feeling the rising work within paper patterns, the art of cutting fabrics, basting and finally, the making of clothes. Shapes and colours in absolute synergie, living according to fashion and trends of time. Fabio grows and once he fully understands his own talent at organizing fashion events, the fashion parade calls him and begins to push his first steps forward. He excels in his native land, Valle d´Aosta, with taste and determination; his courage and freshness are instruments to let the world around him still unexperienced in terms of fashion─, experiment with it, and this i sthe way in which one after the other, his successfull thematic fashion parades are born. Ambitius and tenacious he wants more than just to orchestrate the event…for which sooner than expected he brings his collections to life. “I am specialized in Evening gowns…refinement and elegance are the rights elements that allow feminine allure to arise..” We definitely must try it.

Fabio Porliod, giovane stilista emergente valdostano, nasce con la moda che gli sgorga nelle vene. Passione prorompente che viene alla luce dal focolare familiare; i nonni, Arturo e Régine, già negli anni ’60, assecondavano il loro estro artistico gestendo un importante quanto ricercato Atelier di Moda Sartoriale in quel di Parigi. Rapito dai racconti dei nonni, Fabio si lascia trasportare dagli insegnamenti che Régine tramandava alla figlia Graziella (mamma di Fabio) iniziando cosi a respirare le lavorazioni dei cartamodelli, l’arte del taglio delle stoffe, delle imbastiture, fino ad arrivare al vero e proprio confezionamento degli abiti. Forme e colori in perfetta sinergia prendevano vita assecondando mode e tendenze del momento. Fabio cresce, e comprese le proprie spiccate doti per l’organizzazione di eventi di moda, la passerella per lui ha un affascinante richiamo, inizia a muovere i suoi primi passi. Si impone nella sua realtà nativa – quella valdostana- con gusto e determinazione; si fa portatore di una ventata di coraggiosa freschezza che si predispone di far conoscere il mondo della moda in ambienti e situazioni ancora digiuni di meccanismi fashion… è cosi che nascono con successo, una dietro l’altra, le sfilate a tema di Fabio Porliod. Fabio con tenacia ed ambizione, non si accontenta però della “semplice” regia dell’evento… tanto che in men che non si dica porta in scena le sue creazioni. “Mi specializzo nella realizzazione di Abiti da sera … raffinatezza ed eleganza sono i componenti giusti per esaltare appieno il fascino femminile che ogni donna ha…”, provare per credere.
